It’s All Downhill From Here

August 21st, 2005

It’s been a week since the party of our lives and I know have enough distance from the event to say that it was quite fantastic. In the days following the bash I wasn’t quite sure because I felt a little like Sully feels in this picture:

Delusional Sully

Anyway, it was great fun and I have some pics of the party linked off of the wedding homepage here. I’m going to have a few different sets going up, but the ones I have up there right now were taken by Abram, who did an awesome job. There is a bunch more on their way from the disposable cameras we placed on many of the tables. Those should be fun as we have no idea what might be on those…

Also, I stitched together a complete RSVP/Guest list from the EVite site to store permanently as a record of who came (actually, who RSVP’d) to the party. You can check it out here.

Much love and thanks to all who made this party possible: Dan & Devon, Doug, Christa & Abram, Shaun & Megan, Andrew, Grandma Graff, Grandma Bev, Bobby, Jeff, and all the other family and friends who pitched-in, I can’t list everybody but I am appreciative to all.

It was the party of our lives, and I guess it’s all downhill from here! Oh well, hopefully someone else we know will have the party of their lives and we can crash…

The pic of Sully cracks me up. Definitely a great time at the party of your lives. It was fun taking pics, my first party I worked, so the next party of your lives will be even better. Your families (and friends) are good people and I enjoyed meeting and joking around with them, they all have a good sense of humor and taste for life. Great way to kick off a marriage.

The party was awesome, can’t wait to get everyone back together again. Next time we should arrange a bash at a tropical location (Read: Jamaica!!). :D
