Looking Forward
January 23rd, 2006We have almost a month under our belts in the new year, and the major event of 2006 for me and my wife is fast approaching.
We are going to be moving from our current home (apartment) in Bellingham to a place as yet to be determined. We have lived in our current residence for almost six years and been in Bellingham much longer than that. Needless to say, this has far-reaching implications for our future opportunities in work, living, friendships, and my continued quest to become a professional gamer (nah, not really, it probably wouldn’t be fun then…).
Pretty much, we have it all figured out. There are a few minor things yet to be determined, but those should fall into place soon. Lingering questions include…
- Where are we going to live?
- What are we going to do?
- What are we going to name our cat?
- How long will it be until we have a hook?
- When will Willa have the place filled with plants?
Now would be a perfect time, if there was one, to shed the burdens of our current lives and adopt new personas. Willa gave one of them a try at the New Year’s Eve party, it went over pretty well…

I also think if you just think a bit more about question number 5, you won’t need number 4.

I’m not sure if you could fill your place with plants with a cat since it will love to eat ‘em, knock ‘em over, or dig up the dirt. Hopefully you won’t end up with a cat that loves to eat and chew through wire, it takes a while to figure out how to hide all your wires, especially the computer wires. Ahh, the joys of a cat.

Here are the answers to the questions as I see them
1- Somewhere with a “guest suite” that will be occupied by your sister. This could be a second master bedroom, apartment over the garage, a basement, or the western wing of your new pad. I’m not picky but I do require my own bathroom, cable connection, and at least two closets preferably one walk-in.
2- I dont know but you better make some money if you’re gonna support me and willa and two cats (marsollace is living with us too)
3- Hello… is there any other name that would be as fitting as halo? maybe the name “bud” should be considered.
4- I’m not sure what that means, but I have a lot of stuff so you you may not have room
5- see question #4, and seriously it’s willa so less then three hours. Also, If we recieve any donated plants from your appartment that you aren’t moving will they come with detailed instructions also made by willa?? I think a page per plant would be good.
(No offense willa, you know I love you)
