Distractions of the Week
April 14th, 2006A collection of things distracting me this week:
Everyware: The Dawning Age of Ubiquitous Computing
From A List Apart comes an interesting article summarizing a new book about how computing is becomming more invisible and information will soon be (and is already) flowing through everything. Scary and exciting at the same time.
Ultimate Ears super.fi 5EB White In-Ear Monitor Headphones
The crap iPod ear-buds are not cutting it anymore…plus, these are still white!
Vacuum Cleaner Face-Off
This confirms my ultimate desire: to one day own a Dyson vacuum cleaner. Why? Because they just look so damn cool and they are the best, I mean, this site says so. Yes!!!!
G.R.A.W. on Achieve360Points.com
This site’s tagline is “A listing of 360 achievments and how to get them; it’s the only thing that matter right now”. Right. Regardless, I have been playing a lot of G.R.A.W. lately and improving my gamerscore in the process.
Photos from Negril, Jamaica ‘05
Going back on April 29th and looking at these pictures is making the time until I leave go by soooo slooow.
Turn Here
My wife turned me onto this: A site that hosts videos about places, specifically neighborhoods, around the world.
Google Calendar
The Google kids turn out a web-based calendar app that rocks. All I have to say is it’s about time! Now, why can’t I access the calendar from my GMail page…or can I?

I have so many distrations, I didn;t need a list of more distractions. Turn here is sweet, I’ll have to look at more of that stuff later since I haven’t done much work for the last hour. I recommed the Kirby vacuumsm, very expensive, but a damn good vacuum. They don’t look as cool as the Dyson, which I would get just because it looks sweet. Google calendar definitely needs to be intergrated into gmail, that would be awesome!!! Love you Google!
