My 360 Is Dead (Part II)

Dead 360 1 Dead 360 2

Everybody loves a sequel, right? Part II of the “My 360 Is Dead“ series is really more of the same. The only thing that sets the sequel apart from the original is a little extra dose of drama and special effects, making it hard to recommend.

The drama lies in the internal struggle that our 360 hero is now under, (SPOILER ALERT) seeing as how at the end of this sequel, his wife is about to leave for a long trip which leaves ample time for quality 360 time that he might never see.

The special effects improvements are significant as well. Microsoft’s perfectly orchestrated bleeps and blips that announce the impending death of the 360 mid-way through are beautiful and heart-wrenching, and the red rings of death have never looked more spectacular.

Despite the auditory and visual upgrades, My 360 Is Dead 2 is not for those who have already experienced the first feature. It is for a new generation who has not yet felt the sting of  the red rings.

There’s only one way to recapture the entire 360 extravaganza, the savior of the world, the Black Knight, code name: Elite.

Agador came through for me in the clutch and I will not miss a day of gaming (unless the box, his 2nd, meets the same fate).
