Summer, Where Have You Gone

August 24th, 2007

All of the sudden it’s almost September and soon it will be October and well…autumn is near. Where has the summer gone and what have I been doing?

Hmmm, I guess I have been working a decent amount. Not a crazy number of hours like in spring but that definitely eats up a fair amount of time.

I saw Kweli at the Showbox, Gwen Stefani at the White River Amphitheater (wifey’s choice), and Band of Horses again at the Showbox. I did do some painting but have not posted it on the interweb yet for all to see. I’ve been swimming in the pool (i.e. Lake Washington) a bunch. I went camping and river rafting on the Yakima river in eastern Washington. Helped a co-worker paint their living room. Went kayaking on Puget Sound. Played mad Forza 2 and RB6V (and even a little Halo 3, woot!). Went to a Deschutes brewmaster’s dinner and generally enjoyed my fair share of tasty brews.

That’s about it so far. I feel a little better now. Guess I haven’t totally let the summer slip by without enjoying it…

summer is dunzo. I am in vegas- it is 105 degrees and I am stuck in the back of a freaking trade show. Atleast in Fall we have the getback and some video game that is supposed to be good. summer 2k7 did not totally pass me by…blackstar, monch, pb&J, beasties and the uber dj van dyk made my summer bump but there were many beach days missed and the month of august was a blur. The xbox died just in time to get in some good games for the month of the 360- replaced by the wii which is fun and I think will be more fun come fall….that is if I can unweld my hands of that white 360 controller…..gotta make something happen that makes the fall amazing. We gotta be gettin some new kanye soon and what about that detox??????
