Back For The ‘08
January 6th, 2008Ok, finally back from a crazy holiday seazon and a hectic end to 2007 in Microsoft-land. Ready to get back into the swing of things and start causing trouble on the web again. Since it is the new year there are some resolutions and to-dos floating around in my head, I will do a little brain dump…
2008 To-Dos:
- Remember Thirdi’s b-day (Feb 8th)
- Head back to Jamaica!
- Become a master of Ticket To Ride (Europe)
- Post more art on PhilNick and complete a re-design (need to upgrade Wordpress, get rid of my portfolio crap and look for some new things to add)
- Continue to play Halo 3 until I puke
- Go camping on Orcas Island
- Work out more, eat better, blah, blah, blah…
Looking forward to a great year!

Welcome back! I was starting to wonder if I was the last foolio still posting randomness for the world to enjoy. Can wait to see the new design and catch some new content.

Ah yeah, the big 30 for Thirdi!
I will be there before I know it. And hopefully still be posting on the internetz tubes for the long haul.

For some reason I thought you were a year older than me thidi but we’re the same age, well you got 4 months on me exactly. Rock On \m/
nickiebee if we post to our own sites for a lifetime, assuming that we are able to do this for 70 years from now, especially with fancy gadgets that will think our posts including art to WP, we will spend:
350.00 on domain name registration
(5.00/yr w/o increase for 70yrs)
6,720.00 for storage
(8.00/mth w/o increase for 70yrs)
7,070.00 each + gazillions on tech toys.

Hellz yeah, it will be interesting to see what someone’s personal website will be like in a few years. Like a street address, it will be ubiquitous I’m sure.
Hell, eventually we might all host our own. That might be the next major evolution for PhilNick, especially if I a stay-at-home server decides to shack up with me.

Fo’ ’sho be hooking up my own diggs once I have a physical address that is my own. Although I hate managing a network, I enjoy it’s freedom and if it wasn’t for work, but for play, I’d love it.
